Form 5 Graduation Day 2009

13th of November 2009 will be a day to remember for the Fifth Formers in SU. Commencing at 7.30am, at the SU Dewan Perdana PIBG, the Form 5 Graduation Day ceremony will be held. The students will be honoured with certificates from the school to mark their successful completion of their Form 5 studies. After this ceremony is over at 10am. The fifth formers will then be required to partake in the arrangements of tables & chairs in preparation of their upcoming SPM Examinations. They will also be handed over their examination slips and a special talk regarding the preparations for the SPM Examinations will take place. All the above activities will be held from 10.30am till 12.30noon. So, 13th November 2009 will be a day to cherish for all Fifth Formers. Please be there in full force...May the Force be with us come Friday!

Calling All SMKSU Badminton Champions

In line with our school's objective to bring our Badminton Club to a higher niche level, we are now embarking on a selection program. There will be a selection program for the SMKSU ELITE BADMINTON TEAM to represent the school for 2010 Petaling District and State competitions.

Selections will be held as follows:

Target Group: Under 15 team (Form 1 & Form 2)

Date: 14 November 2009 (Saturday)
Time: 9.00am onwards

Target Group: Under 18 team (Form 3 & Form 4)

Selamat Hari Deepvali/Deepavali Greetings/Deepavali Vazhtukkal

The PMR examinations are over. I'm sure the Form 3 students deserve a short rest after working hard for their exams. We hope that you will be back in SU to take part in the activities that we have planned for you all. Some interesting ones anyway. Come Friday, SU will be on a short break for Deepavali. School will resume as usual on Wednesday the 21st of October 2009.

Selamat Hari Raya...Eid Greetings

Just to wish all the Muslims in SU, Selamat Hari Raya. Happy Holidays to the rest of you. On behalf of the school administrators, Eid greetings to all the Muslim administrators, teachers, students as well as PIBG members.

Eid mubarak is a traditional Muslim greeting reserved for use on the festivals of Eid ul-Adha and Eid ul-Fitr. The phrase translates into English as "blessed festival", and can be paraphrased as "may you enjoy a blessed festival". Muslims wish each other Eid Mubarak after performing the Eid prayer. This celebration continues until the end of the day, and continues a further three days.
Eid refers to the occasion itself, and Mubarak is 'may it become good for you'.

Boy's Toilet Upgrade...

With the Hari Raya hols around the corner and the exams going on, i haven't been blogging much these days but if at all there are any announcements or important stories, you all know that the blog will have it first. I am sure the boys know the condition of the toilet in Block C and how desperately it needs to be upgraded. Therefore, with the assistance of the PIBG and your contribution during the SU Family Day 2009, the PIBG and the school administrators have decided to go for another school toilet upgrade and this will involve the boy's toilet located on the Ground Floor of Block C. During the holidays, the work on the toilet renovation will commence. So, boys when you get to use the newly-renovated toilet, please use it wisely and don't vandalise your property. Otherwise, you will have to hold it! If you get what i mean. Anyway the point is, take care of the facilities provided for you because you enabled it. Remember well what it looks like now (see the pic above), think about what it's going to become, so take good care of what is to come. Remember the force is strong with you. Don't be tempted by the dark side...
